17.07.15-The Seven Sisters and Beachy Head

We will meet at Norwood Junction at 8am for the 08:15 train, loading at East Croydon for the 08:33 train to Lewis, then we will change again at Lewis for the 09:28 train to Seaford. Meet at Norwood station, en route, or Seaford at 09:47 (let me know!). You are responsible for your own tickets, much cheaper if you buy them in advance. The train at 18:55, since it only costs 8 pounds when I write this. Other options are more expensive The duration of life should be 7 hours, so the time should be fine, and allows us to rest a little. We suggest you buy fast train tickets to get the cheapest price. It's a big - 14 miles - and it's about 1 hour 45 train ride each way, so it will be a long walk and a long day. And be careful, it's a great walk, lots of hills and challenging sections, and we'll need to maintain a decent pace. But it is a classic walk on the cliff, which claims to be one of the best in England. We'll start at Seaford, and we'll end up with fish (well, there are not) and chips in Eastbourne, admiring the white cliffs of Seven Sisters and Beachy Head on the way, and a group of beaches https://www.walkingclub.org.uk / walk / seaford-to-eastbourne / Wear decent mountain boots / hard trainers, bring raincoats and bring sandwiches and snacks.
